I <3 Sunny Days!

Isn't it just refreshing to wake up and see the sun beaming through your window? I just luvvvv it!! Especially since I'm an East Coast girl and it's been raining like crazy lately. I'm dyinggg for some warm weather wtf. It's supposed to be 70 degrees this weekend and I couldn't be happier!!!

Anyhow - woke up early this morning and normally my boyfriend and I go to the gym together but our days off from lifting are different now, so today was his day off and my day on. So I decided to wake up earlier and get my workout out of the way so I could come home and relax before going to work.

Today's workout was all upper body:

Great workout today!! Muscles are feelin really tired. Legs still feel sluggish from 2 days ago :(

Trained 6 clients tonite & held a muscle class for my young girls (age 13). I'm pooped!

Off to watch Making the Band and sleepy time! Tomorrow is another off day from the gym but I'll probably do some outside cardio because it's supposed to be so nice outside. PLUSSS - Tomorrow is my dad's bday!! YAYYYY!

Biggest Loser



Ok, everyone has seen the hit TV show, Biggest Loser. Well since some of my clients tend to lose their motivation easily, plus, my family never had the motivation to begin with (jk lol) I decided to begin this Biggest Loser competition! Everyone has had their official weigh ins today and the contest will end July 12. The total length of the competition is 13 weeks. I'm so pumped to see everyone get going and get healthy and in shape!

Turning a negative into a positive

Here we go again. I got pushed back a couple of steps today. What happened ultimately affects my future - BUT - not so much in a negative as in a way that just forces me to make moves immediately.


Personally, I don't think anyone should ever stay in a situation that causes them to stress - turn into a person they aren't - be negative - be unhappy - etc. I truly believe that we are all blessed with 1 life, 1 opportunity to take advantage of all that life has to offer. Why spend time being miserable? I have learned throughout all of this drama that you have to keep moving forward. Sometimes, things don't always work out the way you hope for it to, but in the end you HAVE to keep pushing forward. Any set back is just setting you up for something better. If anyone understands how difficult it is to believe that, it's me, but it's true. Keep your eyes on the prize and never ever settle. NEVER! Life is too precious and TOO short to sell yourself short.

New Diet - New Attitude

Soo, I just started a new diet with my trainer Erik from leanbodiesconsulting.net. I am LOVING it so far!! Feeling great, even without carbs here and there and I'm pumpedddd!!

*Did 45 minutes of steady state cardio today, day off from lifting*
